Situated in a picturesque traditional mountain village, Beit Douma gives guests the experience of staying in a Lebanese home. The house itself dates back to the 19th century, and has been resorted to offer just six double rooms, each with their own en suite bathrooms and views to the surrounding mountains. Everything about the hotel feels authentic, from the arched windows, high vaulted ceilings, down to the lovingly weathered doors. The staff are also a joy to be around, always on-hand to help out and offer a friendly smile.
The food here is particularly excellent so reserve at least one night during your stay to enjoy their Lebanese cuisine. You’ll be given a large spread of dishes to try so you can really get to know the recipes that have been passed through generations. There is also a spread of homemade cakes, pastries, and fruit (mostly grown in their own garden) in the entrance hall permanently available for guests to pick at!
